센게이지러닝코리아 주식회사의 홈페이지를 방문하여 각종 서적 등에 관한 정보를 얻기 위하여 문의를 제출하는 경우, 사용자가 입력하는 개인정보는 『개인정보보호법』 제15조 내지 제19조 규정에 따라 타인에게 제공, 활용시 본인의 동의를 얻어야 하는 정보입니다

1. Privacy policy (collection of personal information & provision of personal information to third parties, consent to utilize marketing and advertisement)
When users visit the webpage of Cengage Learning Korea Ltd. and submit inquiries in order to gather information regarding various books, the personal information that users input requires users’ consent in cases wherein that information needs to be provided or utilized to third parties according to Article 15 or 19 of the Personal Information Protection Act.
Therefore, Cengage Learning Korea Ltd. obtains users’ consent in order to proceed with joint publication of Cengage Learning Asia Pte. Ltd. (overseas), Cengage Learning US (overseas), with Cengage Learning Korea Ltd., and provide the collected information to publishers that have businesses for publication or distribution in the Republic of Korea with the exclusive sales rights from Cengage Leaning Korea Ltd. so that the collected information can be utilized for sales of related books (e.g. promotional mailing, text message, e-mail).

2. Information of marketing reception
In the case of withdrawal of consent to the collected personal information that was agreed to be provided to third parties, the consent will be withdrawn and such information will be completely deleted within seven (7) days from when the consent status modification or the withdrawal was requested in a safe but irreversible way.
